Board of Trustees |
We believe there’s no reason to fix something that’s not broken. Therefore, Work, Wealth and Wisdom continue to articulate the core responsibilities of our trustees. JBFCS is among the top philanthropic priorities for our trustees and their philanthropic support reflects the deepest commitment possible.
Board meetings are held eight times a year and good attendance makes it possible to govern and lead. The Board of Trustees is responsible for:
- Passing the annual budget
- Accepting the audit
- Hiring the Chief Executive Officer
- Developing policies
- Fundraising
- Long range planning
- Advocacy
Each trustee serves on some combination of Board Committees, Business Committees and Divisional Boards.
