Postgraduate Fellowships and Certificate Programs
The Institute for Infants, Children & Families, a training program of the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, offers various advanced learning opportunities for postgraduates seeking experience with children and families. The Institute offers One- and Two-Year Certificate Programs with the Infant-Parent Study Center as well as Two Year Postgraduate Fellowships in Early Childhood Group Therapy (ECGT). [more info]
Externships in Psychology
JBFCS offers ongoing externship training to graduate students matriculated in doctoral programs in clinical and school psychology. Placements are available in various agency programs, for two or more days per week, depending on the needs of the externs and the particular facility. Applications are accepted beginning in early January. All positions are typically filled by March 15th each year. [more info]
Internships in Psychology
JBFCS offers ongoing internships to three doctoral students in APA approved clinical and school psychology programs. These positions are full-time and the training is for one full year, from September 2009 to August 2010. There is a stipend of $23,600 for the year in addition a generous medical benefits plan. Application deadline is Monday, November 3, 2008. [more info]
