Hosted by Lenny Rodriguez, Deputy Chief Program Officer, a luncheon was held at our Westchester Campus on November 9, in honor of the Scott Hazelcorn Children’s Foundation. The occasion was the Foundation’s recent gift of $50,000 toward the renovation of the Westchester Campus swimming pool. In attendance were Janice and Chuck Hazelcorn, accompanied by their fellow Board members, Susan and Bill Berlin, Ron Ries, and Peggy Cohen. Our Westchester Campus unit directors and Campus Director Keith Little were also on hand.
The Hazelcorn Foundation’s contribution to our Westchester Campus brings their total giving in support of the agency to $100,000 since they were introduced to JBFCS just two years ago. The Foundation was established in 2001 by Janice and Chuck Hazelcorn, as a living memorial to their son Scott, who lost his life in the attacks on the World Trade Center, which took place on September 11 of that year.
