Professional and Leadership Training

With the current work force crisis in our field, it is more important than ever for agencies to develop well‐trained and highly skilled supervisors. These courses complement each other but can also stand alone in developing competencies to “manage in the middle.” This nationally‐known curriculum was developed by Floyd Alwon, EdD, former Director of the CWLA Walker‐Trieschman Center and is taught by Frank Delano, LMSW, a Walker‐Trieschman Center approved master trainer.

Learn to use Dr. Alwon’s “action plan” approach, and develop a personalized plan for implementation of these skills. Come together again for a three‐hour meeting four months after the original course to review the progress of their plans. (Part 1 does not need to be taken before part 2)
