Children's Day Treatment Services
While living at home, students attend school and receive a range of treatment services. Services include individual, family and group therapy, psychiatric treatment and medication management, individualized education curriculum, crisis intervention, remedial training and vocational preparation. In addition to academic classes and therapy sessions, students attend socialization and recreational programs. The overall mission of the program is to help students achieve their academic potential while developing self-esteem and a positive association with learning. The mission of day treatment is providing and maintaining services to children in their home communities.

A group milieu program for adolescents ages 11 through 21 dually diagnosed with substance abuse, emotional, and behavioral problems. The program consists of therapeutic community milieu groups, alcohol and drug eduction, individual and family therapy, and psychiatric services as needed. Serves the needs of troubled boys and girls, ages 5 to 11, with severe emotional and behavioral problems. IHB helps families and children by providing individual, family and milieu therapy, as well as special education. |

MAP provides individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents ages 12 through 21 at risk of substance abuse, school problems, family conflict, and other stresses of teenage life. The program is licensed by New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services to provide substance-abuse prevention and early intervention services. MAP operates in Murrow and Dewey High Schools and a few Yeshivas providing consultation, information and referral, and conducts discussion groups to reduce stress and conflict experienced by students. |
