The Friends program offers a series of one-time events to allow busy young professionals the opportunity to volunteer hands-on within the various JBFCS sites. Friends provide friendship and support to agency clientele with a range of special needs. This unique volunteer program is committed to cultivating future leadership for this renowned mental health and social service agency.

Spring Planting
Sunday, May 4th — Enjoy an afternoon of planting and gardening at our Mt. Vernon facility, home to profoundly disabled adults in the Westchester suburbs. Work with the residents as we clean the flower beds and plant the window boxes and planters for an explosion of spring beauty!
AidsWALK 2008 Sunday, May 18th — Grab a friend and comfortable walking shoes for the annual AidsWALK NY in Central Park. The 2007 JBFCS team was over 100 walkers strong, so let's get together, show our support and walk for a cause! |
